WHY WE MADE THE SWAP

Coffee is one of those products many of us consume every day without thinking much beyond roast, flavor and price. Years ago, our family began looking more closely at what was in—and potentially on—the foods and beverages we consumed regularly.

Coffee was one of the things we decided to reconsider.

We had been Starbucks drinkers and loved the deep, rich flavor of their darker roasts. Finding a replacement wasn't easy. We tried numerous mainstream and specialty coffees, including several marketed with many of the same “clean coffee” claims we were looking for.

Seven Weeks Coffee was the one that stuck.

Of the coffees we tried, we found Seven Weeks offered the combination we had been looking for: a coffee that met our ingredient and sourcing priorities without sacrificing that deep, rich, full-bodied flavor we loved.

We also contacted Seven Weeks directly when we first began using their coffee and were told by the company that their products do not contain formaldehyde.

MORE THAN THE COFFEE

Another reason Seven Weeks continues to earn a place in our home is what happens beyond the cup.

We especially appreciate their commitment to ethical coffee farming and that purchases help support their pro-life mission, including the Heartbeat Club.

For us, this became more than finding a “cleaner” coffee. It was an opportunity to make one everyday purchase align more closely with what matters to our family—without giving up the coffee we actually wanted to drink.
