Our journey toward cleaner household products didn't begin with Truly Free. Like many families trying to make better choices, we first switched from conventional cleaners to products marketed as a more “natural” alternative.

For a while, we thought we had already made the swap.

But as we began looking more closely at ingredients—and learning just how much can hide behind reassuring marketing language—we realized that “natural” on the front of a bottle doesn't necessarily tell the whole story.

That sent us looking again.

Since making the switch, our experience has been refreshingly simple: no membership requirement, reasonably priced products, and—most importantly—cleaning products that actually work.

Two of our favorites are the Everyday Cleaner and Heavy Duty Degreaser. In our experience, they don't merely compete with the conventional cleaners we used before—they work better than many of them, without asking us to compromise our health in the process.

We've now tried quite a few Truly Free products, and so far we haven't found one we don't genuinely like. Again and again, they've performed as well as or better than the commercially sold products they replaced.

For us, that is what a successful swap should look like: products we feel better about bringing into our home without sacrificing performance, convenience, or affordability.
